HSTRY is a web-based application where students and teachers can create interactive timelines. Not only can this application be used to describe a series of events in history, but it can also be used for topics such as science and even mathematics. For example, one of our DAs has created a timeline describing how to use the Rational Roots Theorem to find the zeros of complex polynomials. This is not only is a useful tool for teachers, but students as they can make their own interactive timelines to turn in as projects, homework, or long term assignments.

Haiku Deck is a great free tool to help create not only visually appealing presentations but mentally stimulating ones. It allows the person to not only show the visuals and facts they wish to but to add notes to the side,for example the essential question the teacher wishes the student to consider. EDpuzzle is a FREE web based way for teachers to use video in the classroom or for homework. EDpuzzle allows teachers to take a youtube video, TED talk, our any video and put in questions, comments, audio recordings. The thing that makes this great is that when the kids go to watch that video they have to answer the question before they can replay the video. Teachers can also make a class and track if students have completed the assignment.
